  • Dr.
    Wanda Pipkin

    Dr Pipkin grew up in St Louis County attending Ritenour High School.  She taught school for several years at Meadow Heights and Parkview State School before attending Vet School.  She got her B.S. in education at SEMO and then later attended the University of Missouri-Columbia Veterinary School.

    She has a Tennessee Walking Horse named Abraham, a German Shepherd named Decker, a Golden mix named Bennie and Zeke a Boston Terrier.  She also has two cats named Bubba and Olivia.  Dr Pipkin has one sister Charlotte who lives in Springfield MO with her husband Wiliferd Lair.  Dr Pipkin enjoys teaching and doing bible studies and helping the international students at SEMO University.

    Shelly Daume

    Dr Daume grew up and attended high school in Jackson, MO.  She attained her B.S. in Animal Science and her DVM from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  She lives in north Cape County with her husband Stephen.  They have two grown children, Danielle and Joshua.  They also have two corgis named Dave and Buster, and two Quarter Horses and cattle.  Dr Daume attends Cape County Cowboy Church.  She loves reading and scrapbooking and taking pictures of her kids and dogs.

    Karen Fieser

    Dr Fieser returned to Deer Ridge as a full-time veterinarian in September 2018. She is married to Randy Flowers and lives near Millersville with their mixed breed dog Honey and two rambunctious cats, Swiss and Gouda. Dr Fieser graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with her DVM in 1999. She worked for USDA Food Safety Inspection Service as a public health veterinarian from 2009 to 2018. Her hobies include wildflower gardening, camping, target archery, reading crocheting cat toys, and babysitting three grandchildren.

  • Tonya Myers

    Tonya became our office manager in 2015. She grew up in Daisy, MO and attended Oak Ridge R-6. She currently resides in Oak Ridge with her husband Brian where they raise beef cattle. They have 3 children Dustin (wife Ashley), Kali (husband Jake), and Brynn. They also have one grandson, Gavin.  They have two Australian Shepherds Valorie and Ellie Mae. Tonya attends First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge.

  • Terri Degenhardt

    Terri grew up in Perryville, MO. She currently resides in Cape Girardeau. Terri has been employed with Deer Ridge Animal Hospital since 1985. She has three dogs Brody, Jackson, and Stark and four cats Charlotte, Chuck, Dennis, and Flo.

  • Chantalle Pelletier

    Chantalle joined the Deer Ridge staff in 2015 when she moved to the area from Maine. She holds an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology. Chantalle has two cats, AKA 'The Girls' Gracie and Getsi.

  • Bree Shearer

    Bree was raised in Oak Ridge, Missouri. She is a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and Southeast Missouri State University. Bree has been employed with Deer Ridge for 14 years. She currently resides in Cape Girardeau with her husband and 2 sons. Bree and her family enjoy their furry friends Grizz, Pria, and Snitch.

  • Brooke Stephens

    Brooke has been employed with Deer Ridge for 15 years. She lives in Jackson. Brooke enjoys spending time with her precious
    dog Josie.

  • Taylor Stewart

    Taylor began working at Deer Ridge in 2009. She grew up in Jackson and currently resides in Cape with her husband Jesse and son Jonah. In addition to working at Deer Ridge, Taylor is working on her nursing degree at Southeast College of Nursing. She enjoys trout fishing and fosters animals for local rescues. In addition to her human family, Taylor has 3 dogs Alli, Trooper, and Sully, 3 cats, 3 horses and 19 chickens. 

  • Kelli Holloway

    Kelli grew up in McClure, IL and graduated from Shawnee High School. She has  been employed with Deer Ridge for 13 years. Kelli is proud of her 2 daughters, Kylie and Kiersten. She keeps busy with her 5 dogs, Tessa May, Echo, Binx, Nyles, and Smoke, 3 cats, Rintoo, Poe, and Raven, 3 bunnies, Sage, Harper, and Willow, and Oscar the Betta Fish.                

  • Sheila Pecaut

    Sheila joined the Deer Ridge staff in October 2013. She grew   up in Cape Girardeau and graduated from Central High   School. She currently resides in Jackson with her husband   Ricky, her two cats, Beckham & Jughead, and three dogs,   Great Dane - Natty, Spaniel Mix - Raini, and Australian   Shepherd - Jethro. Sheila has a son, R.J, daughter-in-law, Lori   and is expecting her first grandchild. She likes to walk her   dogs, ride bikes and spend time with family and friends.

  • Lynne Stroud

    Lynne has been an employee of Deer Ridge Animal Hospital for 16 years.  She and her husband are residents of Jackson, MO. Lynne attended 1st grade through high school in the suburbs of Chicago. After relocating to this area, she attended SEMO. Lynne has 1 French Bulldog, Barbara Jean and a cat, Tia.
